Scotty McCreery has won the hearts of country music fans with his velvety voice and genuine personality. Although receiving his big break from his Season 10 win on American Idol, the singer has since branded a name for himself through humble kindness and raw talent.

The crooner performed during a previous CMA Country Christmas event, in which he not only warmed the coldest of hearts with his holiday performance, but he sweetly surprised a fan of his with a unexpected hug and greeting. A young girl, associated with the Make A Wish Foundation, was approached by the evening’s host Jennifer Nettles, whom she told of her love for country music and the talented McCreery. The cowboy snuck up behind the girl, casually explaining, “Why don’t I just come give her a big ole’ Christmas hug!” The young fan was shocked as McCreery wrapped his arm around her and explained that he was eager to make her wish come true.

After the brief encounter, McCreery took to the festive stage and gave an unforgettable performance to the holiday classic “The First Noel”. Audience members watched in awe at the effortless talent and infectious joy the singer brought to the celebration. Leaving with a well-deserved applause, the singer graciously smiled to his crowd as the camera panned to the lucky gal who had just met the singer, beaming with pride and happiness.
