The 24-year-old was abducted from her vehicle nearly two weeks ago after heading to her family's camp site in Wells, New York.

Just a week after her disappearance on June 22nd, young Rachael Mattice's family sent a plea for help to her favorite country star, Shania Twain. In response and to help out a dear family in need, Twain took to social media to request the help of her fans in spreading the word of Mattice's disappearance and encourage anyone with information to report it.

Following that call for action from the country superstar, authorities in Hamilton County, New York confirmed on July 6th that Rachael Mattice had been found.

Missing for almost two weeks, WKTV reports that she was being held against her will and she has stated she was kidnapped - which was what her family instinctually had thought when they discovered her car had been left running at the camp site.

A family friend disclosed to WKTV that Mattice had survived the kidnapping by jumping from the car of her abductors and running to her mother's home.

The disappearance had sparked a massive search effort involving helicopters, large numbers of community members, and even police search dogs.

A press conference confirmed that she was held against her will, but failed to give out other details and the case remains an active investigation.
