After being crowned the Season Four champion of The Voice, Danielle Bradbery quickly took the world of country music by storm with her hit single "The Heart of Dixie." While everything may seem perfect on the surface, deep down, the young singer has been struggling with emotional issues.
In an Instagram post, the 20-year-old singer revealed she's been experiencing many sleepless nights due to "the evil" attempting to drag her down. Bradbery goes on to explain that she's often felt "lost" and that through faith alone she's remained strong.
It's 2AM & I have a lot of stuff on my mind 🌙. Some nights are worse than others and I've always wondered why at night you just seem to feel this huge wave of emotion that leaves you sleepless? Tonight is one of those nights for me and I've come to realize that it's the evil that tries to bring you down when it sees you're doing better or doing good. I wanted to share this with you guys because I feel like it's important. Y'all....do whatever your heart desires, I don't care what it is as long as it makes YOU happy. It hurts me seeing people go after things and do things just because they have to. It might not even be going after something, it could be everyday life, a relationship, a friendship, whatever it is...just be strong, and have FAITH, always. I have been lost before and I continue to move forward, grow stronger each day, and I never forget harsh lessons in my life because I learn a lot from them.....Sometimes I feel like things need to be said for other people to hear in the right moment, I strongly believe that! So I send love and blessings to you all 💛
"It might not even be going after something, it could be everyday life, a relationship, a friendship, whatever it is...just be strong," writes Bradbery. The singer bravely writes of her own personal struggles in hopes of encouraging her fans to pursue their dreams and face their doubts and fears head on.
Bradbery recently released a powerful duet alongside Thomas Rhett titled "Playing With Fire." While popstar Jordan Sparks originally recorded the song with Rhett, he chose to re-record with Bradbery after touring with her, releasing the rebooted song on his Tangled Up Deluxe album.
