Unless you have been hibernating for the past few weeks, then you’ve probably heard a lot about the 2016 Olympics. From the start, all eyes have been on a group of five talented young women who have continued to make their country proud throughout the games.

This group of gymnasts, known now as “The Final Five,” consists of Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, Aly Raisman, and Madison Kocian. Together, The Final Five earned the gold medal in the gymnastics team final and they’ve found themselves at the center of attention ever since.

But even though these five extraordinary athletes are some of the biggest stars in the world right now, they still get a bit starstruck by their favorite celebrities. This is something they proved when actor Zac Efron stopped by for a surprise visit. The Final Five couldn’t contain their excitement, and rightfully so.

While Biles was the one who perhaps expressed her admiration of Efron the most, one of her teammates is a huge fan of a major country star. During an interview with Sony Music Global, Kocian revealed that she loves Carrie Underwood‘s music, and called it her “go-to” stuff to listen to.

Kocian tweeted parts of the interview, expressing once again how much of a fan she is of Underwood. Somehow, Underwood discovered the tweet, and wrote back in response to Kocian, “I am a fan of yours as well.

Needless to say, Kocian was thrilled that her favorite country star tweeted back at her, and she expressed those feelings exactly in her reply.

Apparently listening to Underwood’s music works to help Kocian feel inspired, because she took home the silver medal when she competed on the uneven bars. Congratulations to her and the rest of Team USA…you’re making us all so proud!

We wonder which one of Underwood’s songs is Kocian‘s favorite? Perhaps it’s her current single, “Church Bells.” We feel like that would be a good song to play to get hyped up for the Olympics!
