In an interview with Rolling Stone, legendary rockstar Ozzy Osbourne was confronted with a question that has essentially crossed the minds of few after seeing various rockstars making the new switch. Upon being asked if fans and followers could expect to see the “Prince Of Darkness” go country, Osbourne responded with a direct “Not me, thank you.”

Osbourne acknowledges that iconic Aerosmith member Steven Tyler has made the transition and, while he seems to thoroughly enjoy it, “…it would be absurd for me to do that. I don’t mind country, but the ‘Prince of Darkness’ with a cowboy hat? I’m a rock ‘n’ roller, not a f—ing country bumpkin.”

While we can all agree that Osbourne releasing a country album would definitely make for an interesting sound, the “Crazy Train” singer doesn’t strike us as one to enjoy singing about tailgates and broken hearts. However, we can’t help but wonder what Osbourne would look like in a cowboy hat (black, obviously).

Osbourne previously told fans he was anticipating a solo album once Black Sabbath wrapped up their farewell tour, although he currently tells the magazine that he has not really thought about it, honestly.”

Fans can refer to the Black Sabbath website to snag the opportunity to see this groundbreaking band before the tour ends!
