A recent interview with a bunch of drivers proved what we all knew already: while not every country music fan loves racing, nearly every NASCAR fan loves them some good 'ol country music! And it seems to be that Montgomery Gentry has a strong corner in NASCAR!
Talking to a handful of drivers in Bridgeport, US99's Jonathan West got them to open up about their musical tastes and what's on their radio right now. Turns out that country music is most of what's playing for these racing stars!
While Kevin Harvick says that he's loving Jake Owen's newest release, Carl Edwards digs the Avett Brothers' folky tunes, and Matt Keneseth is stuck with whatever his kids are jamming out to - there was one driver who declared his love for country music and, specifically, Montgomery Gentry!
Kurt Busch confessed that he's a huge country fan and gushed that he got to introduce his favorite fellas from Montgomery Gentry on stage once!
Back in 2010, NASCAR champion Bobby Labonte chose Montgomery Gentry's hit song "What Do Ya Think About That" as his pre-race introduction song. Talk about an honor!
