Decades have passed since the world lost American sweetheart Patsy Cline following the tragic crash of her private plane March 5,1963. Even though there will never be another quite like Cline, her legacy lives on through the music she left in her wake.

Indie rock band The Kills deliver a deeply emotional cover of Cline’s iconic “Crazy.” One half the rock duo, Alison Mosshart, kicked off the duet with a sultry solo that perfectly illustrates the heartbreaking lyrics. British guitarist Jamie Hince joins in at the chorus for an enchanting harmony alongside his bandmate.

The Kills are an indie rock band based out of both the United States and the United Kingdom formed by Mosshart back in 2000. While they haven’t seen much commercial success in the U.S., their fifth studio album reached the the U.K.’s Top 20 album chart.

“Crazy” is a ballad originally composed by country music legend Willie Nelson. While the song has been covered by countless artists, the most notable belongs to Cline who took the song to No.2 back in 1962.
