After A Long Hiatus Working On Personal Projects The Group Is Back Together

Alison Krauss & Union Station are making a comeback after 14 years with their new album, Arcadia.

In December, the group also announced a 2025 tour that will include 73 shows across North America. It has been 10 years since they last toured together and 14 years since their previous album release.

On January 29th, they made an exciting announcement on Instagram about their new album.

The band consists of Alison Krauss, Barry Bales, Ron Block, Jerry Douglas, and Russell Moore, who has recently joined the group.

Alison Krauss & Union Station has undergone a name change and multiple lineup changes since their inception. Their first album together, titled Two Highways, was released in 1989.

Despite the constant changes the group has won multiple Grammy Awards and gained a loyal fanbase over the years.

The Group Released A New Single Titled “Looks Like The End Of The Road”

The group took a long hiatus to work on independent projects, but it was always on Alison’s mind to one day bring the group back together.

She said in an official statement,Over the years, you’ll hear something, but it’s not time for it. You say to yourself, ‘Oh, this is beautiful, I’m going to set it aside and wait. I have a place behind my desk with songs that I collect, including CDs and cassettes of songs I’ve kept for 30, 40 years.”

It seems that Alison has discovered the perfect song to reunite the band. They have just released a new single titled “Looks Like the End of the Road.” This track will be included in their upcoming album, Arcadia, which is set to release on March 28.
