The couple first started dating in 2015, which means they have been together for nearly 10 years. They met as coaches on The Voice in 2014, and they were each going through divorces.
Shelton was famously married to Miranda Lambert, but they divorced after 10 years together and four years of marriage. Gwen Stefani had just divorced Gavin Rossdale after being married for 13 years. The couple has three sons together: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, whom Blake Shelton has embraced as part of their blended family.
After dating for five years, the couple married in an intimate home wedding on July 3, 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic. They tied the knot on Blake Shelton’s property in Oklahoma.
Shelton took to Instagram a few days ago to celebrate their wedding, posting a beautiful photo of them kissing at dusk beneath a flower-filled arch.

She posted a clip from their duet on her new album, “Purple Irises,” and some adorable photos.
In 2024, Gwen Stefani released a 10-song album called Bouquet. The album centered around floral themes, with titles like “Empty Vase,” “Marigolds,” and “Late to Bloom.”
One track that stays true to the floral theme is “Purple Irises.” It is a duet with her husband, Blake Shelton, which gives fans a glimpse into their love story.
In the chorus, Gwen expresses her desire to never lose Blake Shelton.
