The whole Robertson clan hopped in the Duck Commander RV to help the newlyweds move in, but when they arrived to their new home, it wasn’t exactly what they were expecting.
John Luke was under the impression that their house would be livable upon their arrival, but after re-reading an email from the higher ups, this was not the case.
The e-mail said their “house will be delivered“, but it still needed to be put together to be able to live in.
Everyone went in a full panic! Should they look for a condo closer to campus? Should they check out the dorm situation? Everyone’s mind went to a different place!
Willie, Korie, John Luke and Mary Kate decided to see what the dorm situation was like. The Resident Advisor was kind enough to show them the dorm room they had available, which was a bit small and had a bunkbed.
Korie suggested bringing the mattresses off the bunkbed and putting them together on the ground, which made the RA a little confused.
“We really can’t have co-ed living on this floor,” he said sternly.
Their reaction was hysterical! The poor RA had no clue John Luke and Mary Kate were married.
In the end, everything worked out. Although they lived in an RV for the first couple days in Virginia, they are extremely happy at Liberty University, and now they have a funny story to tell their kids!
Korie even tweeted a picture of their house with the caption “fun times!”
