According to the Monroe News Star, “a flash flood warning is in effect until noon for Monroe, West Monroe and Claiborne.“
As most fans know, the Robertson family of Duck Dynasty fame all reside in West Monroe, Louisiana and are being affected by these rain storms that began yesterday.
The family banded together to help one another during this scary time. Jase’s wife, Missy, recruited their son, Reed, and even some Duck Dynasty crew members to help put sand bags around her grandma’s house for protection.

Sadie’s Roma rain boot line also came in handy!
Korie shared a photo of them in the Roma rain boots with the caption, “Thank you for your prayers for our community. So many roads, homes and cars flooded. We have a few buckets strategically placed at our house due to leaks, and a few inches of water in our driveway, but we are safe. Praying for the health and safety for all evacuating!“
Although some families have had to evacuate, the Robertsons are praying they will not need to, and are enjoying some time in the rain. Korie and Willie’s newly-adopted son, Rowdy, went in the backyard in his poncho and found some baby crawfish!
Many businesses are closed for safety, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! The guys at Duck Commander took advantage of the high water in their parking lot and decided to grab their canoe and paddle downstream!
Jep’s wife, Jessica, shared a photo on her Instagram to show just how high the water is getting in her backyard. Her bonfire pit and chairs are almost underwater.
Korie’s mom, Chrys, also posted a photo to Instagram sending prayers to all the families who have been effected by the flooding.
Join us in praying for the Robertsons, all of Louisiana, and that their homes and businesses will make it through this time.
