American Idol's 15-year-old country hopeful, Tristan McIntosh has wowed judges and viewers once again.
This final season of Idol has produced some of the best talent the show has ever seen, especially when it comes to McIntosh. When she performed Vince Gill's "Go Rest High On That Mountain" she stole our hearts forever, and then following up with another strong cover of Martina McBride's hit, "A Broken Wing" - we're in love.
Her emotional connection to the song shined through in her performance of the beautiful 1997 hit. According to The Tennessean, McIntosh told the show's host, Ryan Seacrest that "Broken Wing" was the first song to make her cry has a child, and that feeling only helped her delivery of the ballad.
All three judges, Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry Connick Jr. were impressed by her song choice and stage presence. Lopez added that McIntosh was "tailor-made" for country music, and we have to agree.
