Grand Ole Opry via YouTube
In the weeks after the passing of country star, Joey Feek, beautiful videos have surfaced of the inspirational singer.
As fans mourn the loss of the kind-hearted woman, the Grand Ole Opry shared a video of Joey at her happiest. The Opry knew this is what fans needed to see, and how Joey needed to be remembered.
Throughout their musical journey, Joey + Rory shared many moments on the Opry stage. Joey’s passionate voice and smooth vocals always made for a special performance, but one stood out from the rest: “Play Me The Waltz of Angels.”
In 2013, the happy couple performed on the famous stage with Rory’s oldest daughter, Heidi Feek, and the trio sang a beautiful version of the classic song.
With a smile on her face, Joey stood alongside her husband and stepdaughter, while singing her heart out to the classic song, originally sung by Buck Owens & The Derailers.
While she sang, even Rory couldn’t help but smile at his beautiful bride.
Relive the wonderful moment below.
Rest in peace, Joey Feek.
