When Blake Shelton acquired country singers Adam Wakefield and Jared Harder on the landmark tenth season of The Voice, fans were elated!

Shelton paired them up together for the battle rounds, and they gave a rockin’ performance of The Marshall Tucker Band’s 1973 hit “Can’t You See“.

The performance started with Jared on guitar and Adam on keyboard and showcased each of their unique styles of singing. Jared is a technical singer with more of pop sound, while Adam is more soulful and gritty like Chris Stapleton

Their harmonies were incredible and they earned a standing ovation from all four coaches.

That was dope,” Christina Aguilera said. “There was so much gospel and blues and soul and country. You both can do it all.”

Christina and Pharrell both said they would pick Adam if it were up to them.

Ultimately, the decision was in the hands of their coach, Shelton.

It felt like a band up there, instead of a battle round,” he said. After some thoughtful consideration, he chose Adam to move on the the Knockout Round.
