Blake Shelton had a very tough decision to make on Tuesday (March 22).
The Voice continued the battle rounds on Tuesday night's episode with more singers trying to stay on Team Blake.
Brittany Kennell wowed Shelton and Pharrell in her blind audition when she sang "Strong Enough" by Sheryl Crow. Her strong vibrato attracted Pharrell to turn his chair at the very last second. She ultimately picked Shelton and he paired her with Trey O'Dell for the battle rounds.
If y'all don't remember, pop-rocker O'Dell caught Shelton's attention during his blind audition of Sheppard's "Geronimo".
Together they sang an incredible version of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain". O'Dell started off their duet with a soulful solo, followed by Kennell's part, which was filled with her signature vibrato tone.
The two singers played off each other, and even fiercely pointed at each other when they sang the lyric "If you don't love me now".
They ended the battle on a high note and everyone was looking at Shelton to see what he was going to do.
After Christina Aguilera compared Kennell's vibrato to Gwen Stefani, and Adam Levine made a joke about her being Shelton's girlfriend, she got down to business. Aguilera praised O'Dell's falsetto and Kennell's control.
"You guys both did incredible," Shelton said before he made his decision. "The winner of this battle is Brittany."
As Brittany continues the competition on Team Blake, Trey thought he was going home. But he thought wrong! Aguilera stole him and he will now compete on Team Christina!
