Starring alongside John Russell in the legendary western tv series Lawman, Peter Brown became one of the most-recognized tv actors through his role as Deputy Marshal Johnny McKay.
Born in New York City, Brown joined the United States Army and gained a knack for writing, directing, and acting in plays to entertain other troops. Later, Brown began studying drama during his college years and started appearing in plays on NBC Matinee Theater.
Brown wasn't limited to just television series though, he also appeared in full-length moves like Red Nightmare, Darby's Rangers, and Summer Magic. The tv cowboy also took on a role in soap operas like The Bold And The Beautiful and The Young And The Restless.
America will forever remember Peter Brown as one of the most beloved and favorited western actors to ever have graced television. Brown passed away at the age of 80 on Monday, March 21st, 2016. New York Times reports that his family says the cause of death was Parkinson's disease.
