Although Miranda Lambert grew up in Lindale, Texas, over the years she came to adopt the tiny town of Tishomingo, Oklahoma as her home. Lambert helped reignite the town's economy through her businesses there, including her Pink Pistol Boutique.
One of Lambert's newer businesses in the town is the Ladysmith Bed & Breakfast, which is close to the Pink Pistol. The bed and breakfast is housed in a renovated building near the heart of the town that was originally built in 1901.

The Ladysmith has a total of eight rooms, each one with a different theme. Lambert oversaw the design of each room, and because of that the Ladysmith reflects her personal sense of style, which its website describes as "Shabby Chic meets Rock & Roll."

Besides the guest rooms, The Ladysmith also has a dining hall, lounges, a tea room, and ballroom. Guests are treated to a home cooked breakfast every morning, and enjoy "a unique experience and taste of southern hospitality."

After only being open for a short while, The Ladysmith has already developed a reputation as one of the best hotels in Oklahoma. Its website proudly displays the fact that Southern Living ranked it as the South's Best New Hotel in 2015.
