Nashville-based Americana singer-songwriter Parker Millsap was on tour with his band promoting his latest album, “The Very Last Day,” when he found himself without a ride and without essential gear.

The group was staying in a St. Paul, Minnesota, hotel when they awoke to find the parking space where their van once sat covered with broken glass.

“It took me a minute to realize it, but eventually my bass player, Mike Rose, said, ‘I think the van’s gone, y’all,'” Millsap said.

The band had taken most of their instruments into the hotel with them, but the 2007 Chevrolet Express 12-passenger van, a drum kit, two amplifiers, T-shirts, CDs, and more were taken. Millsap filed a police report before renting a vehicle to get the group to their gig at St. Paul’s Turf Club that night.

In an update posted to Facebook this afternoon, Millsap announced that police had recovered the stolen van.

Fans are asked to be on the lookout for the stolen gear and report any suspicious sales to the authorities. For a complete list of the gear stolen, click here
