Mary Kate Robertson Makes Exciting Adoption Announcement

Fans of Duck Dynasty have fallen in love with John Luke Robertson’s wife, Mary Kate, almost as much as John Luke has!

She is the perfect balance to John Luke’s awkwardness and has proved to be a great partner for him. She often posts pictures on her social media accounts of a little boy and everyone always asks her who he is.

When she started her blog almost a year ago, she revealed that he is her “almost little brother”, Teagon. Her parents have been fostering him since he was just five months old and are in the process of adopting him.

Tuesday afternoon (May 24), Mary Kate posted a sweet photo of Teagon announcing that the adoption is now official!

“Welcome to the family, Baby T!” she wrote for the caption. “Today he was officially adopted! We are over-the-moon excited and love him so so much.”

 

Mary Kate’s younger sister, Kelly, also shared her excitement on social media.

 

Mary Kate’s mother-in-law, Korie, sent her congratulations, saying, “This is the best! Love Baby T and your whole [family]!“

As most of you know, adoption is very important to the Robertson family, who have even started Drive Adoption, a foundation to raise awareness about adoption.
