It's the end of an era.
Wednesday night (May 25) served as the series finale of beloved ABC TV show Nashville.
Lionsgate TV is currently fighting for a future for the show, but for now, this is the end and it will surely be an emotional night for fans, as well as the actors.
The show ran for four seasons and introduced us to characters that we immediately fell in love with.
Connie Britton, who plays Rayna James, was able to show off her singing skills that no one knew she had.
"Enjoy tonight's Nashville finale," she wrote on Facebook. "Thank you, amazing fans, amazing cast, amazing crew, amazing Nashville. Y'all are the good stuff."
The world was also introduced to the talent that is Lennon and Maisy, sisters from Canada, who played Britton's daughters.
"The day has come. Tonight will be emotional. Hard to believe! We want to thank so many people for this for this amazing journey," they wrote in a long Facebook post.
They continued to thank everyone who made it possible for them to act on Nashville, including the city itself, the fans, the cast, crew, and the writers.
It's sad to say goodbye to something that has been a constant in our household every Wednesday for the past four years, but we hope Nashville can find a new home so they can continue to tell beautiful stories and play wonderful music.
Watch Britton perform "Real Life" with Lennon and Maisy during a season 3 episode.
