News broke early Wednesday (May 25) that Miranda Lambert was closing down her Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Pink Pistol Boutique location after three years in business.
The boutique, a store "for the wild at heart", opened in 2012 while the songstress was married to Blake Shelton. There was no reason given as to why The Pink Pistol's Oklahoma location was closing its doors, but Lambert thanked the community and her employees for their support in a press release.
"I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the employees who worked hard to help me bring the store in Tishomingo to life, as well as the patrons who came to experience the Pink Pistol and supported the store," Lambert said.
No official closing date was announced, but Lambert did say that all of the inventory would be stocked at her Lindale, Texas, Pink Pistol location.
The announcement left many to speculate over the reason for the closing and others wondered what would become of the building that currently houses The Pink Pistol. In a tweet made Wednesday, Miranda Lambert's ex-husband Blake Shelton announced that he had purchased the building and has some big plans brewing.
