A 22-year old Carrie Underwood fan had a concert experience that he’ll never forget…for more than one reason.
The fan, Bernard, attended Underwood’s recent Ottowa, Canada, concert. Not only did he get to meet the “Something In The Water” singer before the concert, but he got to take home a rare souvenir…a hefty hospital bill.
According to Bernard’s Twitter account, he not only suffered “post-concert depression”, but a collapsed lung.
@CarrieUnderwood SLAYED me so hard in Ottawa. I sang along to every word and my lung flopped. ? #YOLO #LoveHer pic.twitter.com/WIQVTN669i

A shocked and concerned Carrie Underwood responded to Bernard’s tweet.
What the what?! I hope you’re alright! It was great to get to see you! Thanks for risking your life to be there! ? https://t.co/KFV28gbjF0

From the sounds of Bernard’s Twitter posts, his love for Carrie Underwood far outweighs any injury he may have endured. In face, he said he would do it all over again.
Thanks everyone! It’s sad, but funny at the same time. I would do it all over again to be honest. ? #SlayMeCarrie
