Just a week after he purchased the building holding Miranda Lambert’s now-defunct Pink Pistol location, Blake Shelton appeared in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with a long line of tour buses.

It’s likely that Shelton now owns several of the lots that line the main street of the small Okie town, and in under 24 hours rumors have begun to spread like wildfire after just a couple photos appeared online.

Rolling into the town, large tour buses and trailers are double-parked in front of the strip of storefronts that sit with the Pink Pistol, the street has been somewhat blocked off and the photo shows a handful of people milling about.

With all the hubbub and buzz about this small town, there were surely people making their way there to investigate. Dan Pennington from the Durant Democrat appeared on scene and snapped a few photos after investigating.

The one he uploaded depicts Shelton and his assistants walking along the storefronts next to a tour bus and headed in the direction of the Pink Pistol.

What Pennington discovered…confirmed many rumors.

It seems as though Shelton was indeed shooting a music video in Tishomingo, but he was shooting it at a home decor store called The Red Rifle, and the shop had been turned into a bar set for his video.

Narvel Blackstock, the father of Shelton’s manager and Reba’s ex-husband, was on scene as well – for unknown reasons.

One of the set designers and the Creative Director of Warner Music Nashville (Blake’s label) posted some photos of the set they threw up in a day….but the question still remains: which song is he shooting a video for?

According to Nashville Gab, Shelton will be shooting additional scenes around his “adoptive” hometown, and they have their bets that he’s shooting the video for “She’s Got a Way With Words”, due to the fact that Gwen Stefani was not seen anywhere during the filming.

It looks like they did a fine job on the set from the photo a filming company posted, but the windows were all blacked out, so reporter Pennington couldn’t catch a glimpse of the inside.

What do y’all think he was filming?

Do you think he chose the location for a specific reason?
