It’s been eight weeks since Kelly Clarkson gave birth to her second child, Remington Alexander. The proud mom hasn’t made any public appearances since the birth of her son, until now.
On Tuesday night, producer Cat Brewer shared a photo of herself and radiant Clarkson that was taken during an interview she conducted with the ‘Idol’ champ at Starstruck Entertainment in Nashville. The interview will be part of the documentary Sign the Show: Deaf Culture. Brewer shared the photo on Instagram with a caption that read:
“The culmination of 13 months of hustling, persistence, support, and luck in pursuing a single interview for my documentary paid off today when a young woman made good on her promise to provide me an interview! @kellyclarkson contributed an amazing interview for #SignTheShow and was most gracious, thoughtful, and inspiring in her message. I’m honored she’s on board and helping bring awareness and support to the Deaf community.”
Brewer also thanked Clarkson on Twitter saying, “No words 2 adequately describe all the feels I have but #Gratitude is probably the biggest. Thank U @kelly_clarkson.”

Sign the Show: Deaf Culture will represent Brewer’s passion for connecting the Deaf community to entertainers. According to her website, Brewer “brings together entertainers, Deaf community members and ASL interpreters to discuss, in a humorous, heartfelt and insightful way, accessibility for the Deaf and what it’s like to connect Deaf and hearing audiences at live performances.”
Brewer plans to finish filming her documentary this year and hopes to finish production by 2017. The documentary will then be shown at film festivals around the country.
