BREAKING: ‘Voice’ Contestant In Critical Condition After Being Shot While Signing Autographs

Season 6 ‘Voice’ contestant, Christina Grimmie, is in critical condition after she was shot following a concert in Orlando, Florida. 

Grimmie was signing autographs and selling merchandise after her show at the Plaza Live Theater when a man walked up to her and shot her, Orlando Sgt. Wanda Miglio said in a news conference. Grimmie’s brother tackled the shooter before the shooter shot and killed himself. 

Authorities have no information about the shooter’s motive or whether he and the victim knew each other.  The shooter has not been identified. 

Grimmie was a YouTube star before appearing on ‘The Voice’ in 2014. She was coached by Adam Levine and finished in third place.
