Trace Adkins can add big-time actor to his already extensive list of accomplishments. His debut role in the Hollywood flick 'Mom's Night Out' (premiered Jan. 21, 2014), is certianly a comedic and heartwarming crowdpleaser.
The film features Trace as the role of Bones, a tattoo-clad, motorcycle-riding hard man with a heart of gold. Bones must help a young mother (played by 'Grey's Anatomy' star Sarah Drew) find her missing child.
In an interview, Trace explains, "I just like the dichotomy, the contrast" of the Bones "tough guy [...] teddy bear" persona, stating he drew a lot of inspiration for the role from his own personal experiences.
Trace's performance was described as true-to-life and endearing. This is definitely an exciting step in Trace's career.
The film is an endearing family comedy that pays homage to life's wonderful imperfections, so do yourself (and your family) a favor, and watch 'Mom's Night Out'!
