A person has to have some guts to cover a song originally recorded by Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton. Luckily, Savannah Outen and Jake Coco do it some justice. These two covered “Just A Fool” beautifully.
“Just A Fool” is a country pop ballad and Aguilera’s first country song. The duet was released in 2012 on Aguilera’s Lotus album. Though the song did chart, it’s highest peak was #23 on the US Adult Contemporary (Billboard) chart. The song talks about the pain of a break up from both sides of the relationship.
Savannah showcases her talent with her impressive vocal range, perfectly nailing the high notes. Though no one can sing this like Shelton, Jake’s rendition is very well done. Savannah and Jake’s voices complement each other, making the listener feel every ounce of heartbreaking emotion that goes into the performance.
