Although there will never be another Garth Brooks, we really don’t mind hearing Blake Shelton covering his songs. Actually, we love it!
During a performance at The Barn in Florida, Blake took a break from his own hit songs and began rocking out to some Garth classics, starting with “Much Too Young” and following up with, “Papa Loved Mama“. We were completely blown away by his covers of the classic tunes, and we’re pretty sure even Garth would have be impressed!
“Much Too Young” was released in 1989, while “Papa Loved Mama” was released in 1992. Both songs were Billboard hits, making their way into the top ten on the charts. Way to go Garth, you never let us down!
