Military Duo’s Patriotic Country Song, ‘Proud Of Who I Am’ Is Viral and So Good!

It’s so great to see young people with American pride like these two men. And to write a song about it, is another level of patriotism. Lucien Patten and Lane Goff formed Patten and Goff while at Fort Eustis in Virginia. They wrote their first song, “Proud of Who I Am” and filmed this video all in the same day.

Here are some key lyrics from their debut song that took the internet by storm when it was first released on their Facebook.

Just a backwoods country boy proud of who I am.”

“Well, this is my rifle, this is my gun.
Let’s get ’em boys, c’mon, let’s get ya some…”

“Yes, sir, I knew exact what I was doin’ when I swore to Uncle Sam,
If you don’t like the way I’m livin’, just remember that it’s for you.
I’m a redneck, camo-wearin’, son of a gun for the red, white, and blue.

Patten and Goff show pride in their country and the courage and commitment it takes to do their job through this fantastic song. Y’all have to give it a listen; it’ll be worth it.

As always, God bless our troops.
