To call George Strait a legend is an understatement. His music has transcended generations, and he is at it again. George is making more music that will no doubt impress his fans further.
His new song, “Take Me To Texas” is featured in The History Channel‘s 10 part mini-series called Texas Rising. The series will begin telling the story of the Alamo and the birth of Texas as a state. According to IMDB, George isn’t the only Country music connection to the mini-series. Kris Kristofferson is set to play the role of President Andrew Jackson in an episode and will also have a song featured on the official soundtrack.
