One of the most beloved couples in country music, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher turn heads wherever they go. While Mike can often be seen beaming at Carrie from the audience at awards shows, Carrie shows up to support her hubby when he plays hockey for the Nashville Predators.
The couple are parents to a one-year-old son, Isaiah, and have expressed their desire to have more children when their schedules aren't so busy.
When Mike does find some free time, he dedicates it to helping others. In the past, he's devoted himself to working at hockey camps and has also served as a guest instructor at the Roger Neilson Hockey Camp. When he isn't helping out hockey camps, Mike dedicates himself to other charitable causes. Over the years, he's worked with several non-profits, including Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, and he donated $55,000 to Cottage Cove Urban Ministries to remodel their music room and buy a van for the youth center.
In 2012, Mike was given the prestigious NHL Foundation Player Award for his charitable work. We couldn't think of anyone more deserving of the award than Mike...keep up the great work!
