It's been announced folks! Carrie Underwood will be joining the line up for the CMA Music Festival in Nashville next month. She will be performing nightly at LP Field, beginning June 13th. The festival runs from June 11th through the 14th, and includes performers like Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band and Rascal Flatts.
This announcement is extremely exciting for Carrie, because of the fact that this appearance will mark the 10 year anniversary to her very first perfomance with CMA Music Festival. With her victory in American Idol in 2005, she was given a slot in that years festival, and has returned many times since.
Carrie herself announced the news through her Instagram, "Hey #CMAfest! Look like I will be seeing you real soon!", she wrote, accompanying an image of herself wearing "I Heart CMA Fest" sunglasses.
This year has been a big year for Carrie, with the birth of her baby boy in February and three days before her performance at CMA Fest, she'll be performing live at the CMT Music Awards.
We can't wait to see how she does at the CMA Fest. In the meantime, below is the video of her Top 10 hit "Little Toy Gun" which she'll be performing at the CMT Music Awards.
