With the release of Tomorrowland just past him, Tim McGraw has kicked off the Shotgun Rider Tour and announcened his next album. But now he has another big announcement to add to all that chaos: his next acting role.
Tim has begun filming for The Shack, an adaptation of the William P. Young novel. The Shack is a Christian novel about a father whose daughter is abducted four years prior, the abductor never found, who goes back to the shack where his daughters bloody cloths had been located and makes a discovery.
At this point we do not know which character Tim will be playing, we only know that filming has begun on the project in Canada. In an interview with Taste of Country Tim stated he is “…flying in between shows, going up to Vancouver, shooting a movie. It’s kind of a foot race to see which one gets done first, [the album or the movie].”
Well we’re hoping the album gets done soon so we can hear some more of Tim’s music and we can’t help but applaud Tim on his work with veterans through Operation Homefront. During his tour he is giving a home away each city that he goes to.
“The most meaningful thing I get, is these guys telling me they’ve got some foundation for their families. I think that’s the thing that means the most to me, because they provide the foundation for our families safety.”
