Little Girl With Big Personality Steals Show With Passionate Performance Of Disney Hit

Viral videos come and go, but every now and then one comes along that has the ability to shatter the internet. Such is the case with a video of 4-year old Sophia who was so overcome with emotion during her pre-K graduation that she just couldn’t hold it in. 

According to Sophia’s mom, Michelle Neshin, the little girl was so nervous prior to her graduation performances that she was in tears. 

“Right before the graduation when it was just about time to walk, she said, ‘I don’t want to do it. I’m so scared. There’s so many people in the audience.’ On the way there she was super excited but when she lined up to get her diploma she was in tears,” Neshin told ABC News. “But she quickly got over that.”

Imagine Neshin’s surprise when her daughter stole the show when she joined her class on stage to sing “How Far I’ll Go” from Disney’s Moana. 

“She has a huge, huge personality,” Neshin said of Sophia. “She’s usually spunky and has a corky personality but that was something else even for her.”

The performance of the Disney hit was a surprise for the parents so Neshin had no idea what was about to transpire. It wasn’t until after the performance was over that Neshin realized that all of the attention had been on her daughter.  

“It didn’t really hit me until after the graduation when all the parents went and found their kid and gave them flowers and people were coming up saying to me, ‘Is it awful I stopped videotaping my own kid to video yours?’”

We can’t blame them! We can’t take our eyes off of Sophia’s performance either. The passionate little girl couldn’t contain herself as she poured her heart into the song. Watch the video below to see what everyone is talking about! It’s sure to make you smile.
