It is hard to imagine a 10-year-old boy being interested in anything but video games these days. But for Presley Barker, Bluegrass music is more than a genre, its a passion. Something that is extremely refreshing to see!
Presley began playing the guitar at the age of 7, and fostered a talent that is hard to disguise. He’s amazing! (When you watch the video below, you’ll know what we’re talking about!) He enjoys attending Bluegrass Festivals and Fiddler Conventions, with hopes of learning to play the fiddle and banjo on day. This young talent is definitely going places!
In the video below Presley plays the classic, “Alabama Jubilee”. The song was first made popular by country and bluegrass singer Red Foley in 1951, but in 1981 the song won a Grammy for Best Country Instrumental Perforce by Roy Clark.
See Presley Barker play the instrumental version of “Alabama Jubilee” below. Enjoy y’all!
