When Taylor Swift performs live, be prepared for some fun surprises at her concerts. Los Angeles was in for the biggest surprise of all with guest appearances from some powerful 90s artists and one guest that brought the stadium to its feet.
It was Taylor's third night in L.A. at the Staples Center, and she made it about her childhood influences and ladies who inspired her to be the person she is today. Alanis Morisette and Natalie Maines both made appearances, both ladies were power houses in the 90s. But the surprise of the night was Ellen DeGeneres who made an appearance while Taylor performed her hit "Style".
"I can safely and honestly say I would not be a musician if it had not been for this artist. I would not have wanted to be a country artist. I wouldn't have dreamed the things that I dreamed and I wouldn't be standing on this stage today," Taylor said of Natalie as she came out on stage. Natalie is the lead singer of Dixie Chicks, the controversial country group that was huge in the 90s. The pair performed "Goodbye Earl" a Dixie Chick hit that fit Taylor very well.
Ellen stole the night though, when she joined Taylor on stage for "Style" and strutted around in an outfit that was just a little outrageous.
In all, the show was a huge success for Taylor.
