This years ACM Honors was hosted by Jake Owen for the second time and held at the Ryman Auditorium for the sixth time. Alabama, Loretta Lynn, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, and more were recipients of special awards.
Alabama was awarded the Career Acheivement Award, which according the ACM's website, honors,

There were many great performances that night, including Miranda Lambert, Randy Houser, Josh Turner, Holly Williams, and Kasey Musgraves, but the one that stole the show, was Jason Aldean's medley in tribute to Alabama. He sang their hits "Tennessee River", "Love In The First Degree", and "The Closer You Get" for the sold out crowd.
His energetic performance captivated the audience and will have you singing along as well! At the end of Jason's performance, he introduced Alabama as, "the best band there's ever been."
Alabama members Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry were moved to tears by the honor from the Academy of Country Music and Jason Aldean.
