Sadie Robertson Asks For Our Prayers

Sadie has always been open about her Faith. She’s talked about it on their hit A&E reality show, in TV interviews, and through her Instagram posts. The young Duck Dynasty starlet encourages prayer and even asks the public for prayer on occasion.

As she was cleaning out her old house, she found a 4 page prayer that she wrote in 2013 for her future husband. She posted her unexpected find on Instagram.

Her caption reads:

“In tears… as I am cleaning out my old house I found a 4 page prayer that I wrote on October 7, 2013 for my future husband. I want to encourage every single girl on the planet to write down a prayer for your future husband. Pray for him as if you already know him. He probably needs your prayers! He is going through something right now just like you are so pray him through it! Pray for his confidence! Pray for him to have strength! Pray for him to be a leader, and not just go with the crowd! Pray for him to resist the devil, and the temptations of man! Pray for his protection! Pray for him to feel God’s love, and the presence of God around him. Prayer is a powerful thing! Start doing it now, and see what amazing things the Lord will do in his timing. He has already shown me so much by this. Prayer is POWERFUL.”

Sadie wrote this when she was just sixteen-years-old, but with so much wisdom. We are sure there are many girls praying for their future husbands today after seeing her post, which has over 148,000 likes.
