During an interview on The Tonight Show, Carrie Underwood spills the beans on the worst thing she ever did as a kid. 

The backstage interview, called “My First Album With Carrie Underwood“, asked Carrie one simple question, what was the first album you ever purchased? 

An honest Carrie answered the question with a response we never saw coming! 

Carrie began revealing her secret, saying, “We were on a choir trip, away from parents… and I had money in my pocket that I had saved up.


Carrie goes on to explain the full story. The choir trip took a lunch break at the mall, and during the break Carrie worked up the courage to buy a Nirvana CD. Carrie said, “I bought it that day because I wasn’t sure if my mom would approve, or let me buy it… so I bought it in secret!

She admitted, “The worst thing I ever did as a kid was buy music that my parents didn’t exactly approve of.

But in the end, Carrie said it was wroth it, she loves Nirvana!
