Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have been pretty quiet about their very public divorce. But when Shelton sat down to talk with the crew from the Bobby Bones Show, he spoke about how fast the A-list split happened.
"In Oklahoma, it happens so fast. Like, Miranda and I didn't have any kids, and we had a pre-nuptial agreement, whatever we had. Once we filed for divorce, it was over in, like, I think it was like a nine or ten day waiting period until it's over."
There were plenty of rumors to go around about the couple, even before the divorce was finalized. Even after, the rumor mill kept spinning, which Shelton touched on.
"We knew if rumblings and rumors started coming out, they would just be that, because by the time anybody knew anything it was over. It was done," he added. "Our whole thing was, we are going to be cool about this, it is what it is. We're buddies."
The couple have been together for about a decade and married in 2011 in Texas. After four years of marriage, the two decided to call it quits with the divorce finalized July 20, 2015.
