Miranda Lambert has found a new source of inspiration.
Following the conclusion of her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars tour, Lambert found the time to stop by Joshua Tree National Park in California. Named for the twisty, spiky Joshua Tree, the park is home to a variety of desert plants and animals.
Wearing a hat and a big pair of sunglasses, Lambert poses for a snapshot in front of an art gallery and museum called Art Queen. Lambert captioned the photo by saying, “Joshua Tree is a magical place. #inspired #californiadreaming.“
Later on, Lambert took to her Instagram again to post another picture from Joshua Tree, showing that she isn’t planning on just stopping by. Lambert captions the photo “if you need me…I’ll be in my teepee,” making it seem like she intends to stay the night.
In a place as beautiful as Joshua Tree, it’s no wonder that Lambert feels inspired. Perhaps this trip may just inspire her to write a new song?
While Lambert takes a break from touring, enjoy listening to her song “Oh California,” and you may just find yourself “California dreaming” as well.
Hopefully Lambert continues to feel inspired, because we would love to see some new music from her soon!
