One of the most anticipated performances of the 2015 CMA‘s was when the legendary duo Brooks and Dunn took the stage with the equally legendary Reba McEntire

The trio is not new to performing together, they are currently performing an ongoing show in Las Vegas called Reba, Brooks and Dunn: Together in Vegas. They’ve developed a powerful connection over the years, with their collaborations going way back to when they released a single “If You See Him/If You See Her” together in 1998.

For their CMA performance, McEntire makes a powerful entrance on stage and starts singing her 1994 hit song “Why Haven’t I Heard From You?” McEntire’s passionately sassy performance brings the crowd to their feet, as the camera pans to show stars like Blake Shelton singing along.

Throughout McEntire’s performance Brooks And Dunn stand in the background playing their guitars, but partway through, Kix Brooks comes up to the front of the stage with McEntire and takes over singing himself.

At the end of “Why Haven’t I Heard From You?” Ronnie Dunn comes forward to join McEntire in singing Brooks And Dunn’s #1 hit from 2005, “Play Something Country.”

But Brooks is the one who really steals the show, thanks to his animated harmonica solo.

By the end of the performance, everyone in the crowd is clapping and singing along, and it’s clear they had a great time watching the trio perform.
