When Joey Feek made the decision to end treatment for her cancer, she was told she had 6 to 9 months to live.

But a few weeks ago, Joey entered hospice care in her childhood home in Indiana, and she has started saying her goodbyes to loved ones.

Through it all, Joey and her husband Rory have remained strong, relying on their faith to help them through this tough time.

Rory shares regular updates on Joey’s condition through his blog, This Life I Live and the couple’s Facebook page. Recently, he shared an emotional picture of the couple’s three daughters cuddling with their mom in a chair and just enjoying more time with her.

…our girls drove up here last night to spend more time with their mom and baby sister.

After the picture was posted, Joey and Rory’s family released a statement to People on behalf of the couple:

“Thank you for the kind words, prayers and endless encouragement during this time. Joey and Rory still have hope for a miracle, but realize one has already happened through the outpouring of love and prayers for them during this journey. They are cherishing every moment spent together and have found peace through the path God is leading them down.”

It’s incredible that after everything they’ve been through, Joey and Rory still remain hopeful. We can’t help but admire them for their unshakable strength.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Joey, Rory, and their loved ones.
