Craig Wayne Boyd is one of our favorite artists to ever participated on The Voice. The Season 7 winner of the NBC reality TV singing competition captured our hearts with smooth renditions of George Strait’s ‘You Look So Good In Love’ and Johnny Cash’s classic ‘I Walk the Line.’
‘Walk the Line’ was special to Boyd who said the song was especially significant to him since he hasn’t always ‘walked the line’ in his own life, something that changed with the birth of his son.
Boyd’s performance absolutely captivated the live audience, bringing everyone to their feet after his stunning and unique rendition. Boyd’s coach, Blake Shelton had nothing but praise for the up-and-coming star.
“That was magic, it was magic. I just want to say to you, from one country singer to another, I’ve had struggles, not half as many as you’ve had along the way. Freaking congratulations dude! You are finally getting your moment. You deserve it man, you deserve it.”
