Elvis Presley was famous for his jet-black hair, and when she was younger, so was his wife, Priscilla.

During their wedding in 1967, Priscilla looked nothing short of stunning, with her long, black hair framing her face. Since then, Priscilla has changed up her hair color a few times, sticking with a red shade in recent years.

Even though many people loved Priscilla’s dark hair, she recently revealed in an interview with the ITV chat show called This Morning that it wasn’t always her choice to dye her hair that color.

When the interviewer commented on how Priscilla and Elvis looked alike when they were younger because of their hair, Priscilla confessed that Elvis actually persuaded her to dye her hair black, and for a rather unexpected reason.

He did want me to dye my hair black when I was young so we could look alike a little bit,” she said.

Now, looking at the pictures from their wedding, we can see how Priscilla and Elvis do look kind of similar!

Priscilla doesn’t say anything more than that, so we have no idea why Elvis wanted the two of them to look alike.

Even though Elvis’s request for Priscilla was a bit unusual, Priscilla has always had a great love for him, despite the fact that the couple eventually divorced.

Since his death, Priscilla has committed herself to keeping Elvis’s legacy alive, co-founding Elvis Presley Enterprises, which is responsible for turning Elvis’s home Graceland into a popular tourist attraction.

What do you think of what Priscilla had to say when it came to Elvis and her dark hair?
