Country music star Chris Young, gets bogged down with illness and is forced to make a difficult decision...
With his latest single, "I'm Comin' Over" topping the country charts, Young has been headlining a worldwide tour of the same name since October, but unfortunately was forced to cancel all of his remaining concert dates this year due to an unexpected illness.
In a recent Facebook post, Young apologized to fans for being unable to perform, but acknowledges he has taken ill with a case of strep throat.
He also posted a photo of his drugstore trip with all sorts of medicines to help ease the discomfort and get him back on his feet quickly!
This is not the first time Young has been forced to reschedule dates due to health concerns.
In 2012, he rescheduled three shows after his doctor placed him on restrictive vocal rest. The following year, he had an emergency surgery performed when he went into septic shock from an infection as a result of a small cut on his leg. And just last year, he cancelled a CMA Music Festival performance after an accident in which he cut his left hand with a kitchen knife. That incident required surgery to re-attach tendons that were severed.
We hope that the hitmaker feels better and can perform soon as he's got one heck of a voice!
