“Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” may not have been a hit when it was first released in 1963, but the song has since become a holiday favorite.
Artists such as Mariah Carey and U2 have covered the Darlene Love classic, and tonight (Dec. 3) Lady Antebellum‘s Charles Kelly put his spin on the song during the CMA Country Christmas special.
Dressed in a sharp black suit, Kelley left the audience completely captivated with his cover of the song. His smooth voice floats effortlessly through all the notes, and by the end of the performance the audience is roaring with applause.
