We all know and love Lee Ann Womack for her unmistakable talent, and songwriting skills. During the late 1990’s she emerged onto the country music scene with a lot of promise and praise. Some even compared her to the likes of Dolly Parton and Tammy Wynette. But now all eyes are on her equally talented daughter, Aubrie Sellers for very similar reasons.

Aubrie is following in her mothers footsteps, and shows no signs of slowing down. The 24 year old isn’t just riding the coattails of her famous mom or her record producing step-father either. Aubrie has managed to cultivate her own sound, and music independently, and plans to prove her talent by blazing her own trail.

She is a little rock and a little country. Her edgy sound is both emotional and strong, with honest lyrics that are sure to resinate with many. Her debut album New City Blues will be released January 29, 2016 but is already receiving attention from some of the biggest names in music.

Rolling Stone named Aubrie one of the 10 New Country Artists to hear in 2015 for her self labeled “garage country”, and hints of her mother hidden in her music. There is no surprise that Womack would be in there somewhere! She has also been compared to Kacey Musgraves and Ashley Monroe, leading us to believe that this country music newcomer is going places fast!

Don’t be surprised to hear her on country radio very soon. Watch Aubrie’s beautiful performance of “Losing Ground” from her soon to be released album, New City Blues
