Josh Turner has had a difficult week.

The “Your Man” singer announced on Facebook on Saturday that one of his biggest fans, Libby Jurs, passed away. She started his fan club, The Train Gang, and had met Turner more than a few times.

A day later, he came down with an illness and was forced to cancel his concert in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He released a statement on his Twitter account saying, “Due to an illness Josh has to cancel the show tonight. Additional details will be announced shortly. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience.”

Luckily, he announced the good news that he is okay and just had a stomach bug.

He has yet to announce if he will reschedule the cancelled performance. His next show is on January 23rd, 2016 at the French Lick Casino in French Lick, Indiana and will continue touring until August of next year.

Tragedy struck Turner and his team again this morning, when he revealed his former truck driver passed away from a long battle with cancer.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Josh’s former truck driver and his family, as well as Libby Jurs’ family. We also hope for Josh’s speedy recovery.
