A sneak-peek photo posted to social media hints that Miranda Lambert might be making a guest vocal appearance…
Not the first time in recent days that two country stars have worked vocals on the same track. With the release of her friend Carrie Underwood‘s, single “Heartbeat” we learned that Sam Hunt was contributing the backing vocals that helped give the song its unique sound.
A very mysterious photo posted to Instagram this weekend by Charles Kelley (of Lady Antebellum) lends some strong credibility that Lambert may be chiming in with her own beautiful vocals.
Kelley’s newest album, The Driver, has several collaborations from other country artists like Dierks Bentley and Eric Paslay, so including another with the very talented Lambert, is no far stretch. Furthermore, this wouldn’t be the first time that they’ve worked on project together. Kelley co-wrote Lambert’s “Love Song” from her 2009 album Revolution.
Kelley has received plenty of praise for his first solo project and the title track from his album even received a GRAMMY nod.
So, what do y’all think about his mysterious photo? Is Miranda Lambert gonna be featured on the album?
Nothing’s been confirmed yet, so we’ll just have to wait for more music from the project to drop! In the meantime, check out the video for “The Driver” below!
